I'M THE MAMA WHO KNOWS NADA

Brianna is my name. And every day brings a nuanced education about life, liberty and the pursuit of everything. Hence the name and the idea that there is always learning something I didn't know I needed to. Usually now, that insight comes from my kiddo. My darling boy was quite unexpected and I rolled with it. I'm still figuring it out as I roll along. 

A Baltimore native, life took me to Los Angeles, Denver, Dallas, and Spain. But, once a hon, always a hon! I've always been a writer. At university, I studied journalism, theatre and new media. I'm overtly honest and mildly self-deprecating, but without frills, fabrication or phoniness.

A retired hospitality professional, I still geek out over wine and exceptional cuisine. My favorite activities are singing, dancing, playing tennis, running, beach days, and traveling around the world with the coolest kid. Otherwise, you can find me with my son and dog, strolling the streets of the best city in the world, Valencia. 

Mama Knows Nada is all about the raw, honest realness of life, and the evolving path it takes. At 40, I'm not where I thought I'd be, and that's what makes life beautiful. Here, I share the good, the bad, the things that make you shudder with joy, almost pee your pants and that make you wine up, because there ain't no other way.
