Brianna is my name. Fun fact: I don't know sh!t about what I'm doing. But really, who does? My darling boy was quite unexpected and I rolled with it. I'm still figuring it out as I naively roll along. I think we all bring unique ideas and "attack plans" to parenting...so why not share our experiences? It just might help someone else get through one of those days.
Want more? Pick a continental time zone and I've lived in a major city someone within the parameters. Yes, I've always been a writer. Poetry was a coping mechanism to get through childhood trauma. I wanted to be a figure skater or an actor, but, well, I didn't make that happen. I studied journalism, theatre and new media at TU. I'm overtly honest and mildly humble. No frills, fabrication or phoniness; I'm not everyone's idea of fun.
I enjoy over-indulging in wine, exceptional cuisine, hikes, beach days, traveling around the world, and keepin' fit. Now, I write when have the motivation and sleep when the universe allows. My other hobbies include soaking in the perfect giggles my four-year-old creates then drowning out the inevitable tantrums with fermented grapes. If it's a good day, I'm doing all of those things on the sun-kissed sands of some St. Augustine beach.
Mama Knows Nada is all about the raw, honest realness of motherhood. The good, the bad, the things that make you shudder with joy, almost pee your pants and that make you wine up, because there ain't no other way. We believe motherhood is an evolution; it changes with the phases and stages of your kid(s) and...you. Because parenting makes us grow and there are eight billion ways to be a good parent.
